" Wyśmienite dania dnia, chodzę często. Nigdy nie trafiło mi się nic niedobrego i nieświeżego. Zawsze rewelacja polecam"
" This little restaurant was the best part of our whole day in Szczecin (we are British, went on a daytrip from Berlin). It's clearly popular with locals and tourists are less aware of it.
They were happy to give us an English menu and were able to answer a few questions too. The soups were wonderful, I recommend the borscht, and the main courses delicious. They were very big portions. The mashed potato was wonderful, homemade salads very tasty, and lovely cheese and mushroom covered chicken - generous with the mushrooms. We also had the pierogi as we wanted to try them; nice to have a homemade Polish speciality. Also the bottled fruit juice was very nice, lots of choice.
It's very good value - 2 soups and 3 main courses with drinks was about £11-12, approx €15.
The staff were friendly and it had a nice cosy atmosphere. If we return to Szczecin I'd go straight back there! Worth the walk from the train station, even worth the journey from Berlin! "
" This is a place for locals, but I'm delighted we chose to come here for our lunch. No English menu, but we took a chance and ordered the dish of the day (13 zloty). It was delicious! Tomato soup first and then a sesame coated chicken snitzel with mashed potatoes and 3 different salads on the side. We also had pierogies, 2 different types. Tasty. No alcohol served, but that was ok. Only 5 or 6 tables, and as we were there they all filled up. Probably a place with many regulars. I know I would be one if I lived in Szczecin! Highly recommended!
